What we receive
When you use the vocal remover we receive: (1) the audio file you upload, (2) your IP address (via Cloudflare), and (3) standard browser request headers. We do not ask for or store an account, name, email, or payment details.
How long we keep it
Uploaded files and the resulting stems are deleted from object storage within one hour. Server logs containing IP addresses and request timestamps are retained for up to 7 days for abuse prevention.
Lawful basis
We rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) for anti-abuse rate limiting tied to IP addresses. If we add advertising in the future, ads requiring tracking cookies will be served only after explicit consent.
Cookies
We use no marketing or analytics cookies by default. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to detect abusive traffic; this is essential and does not require consent under PECR.
Your rights
Because we hold no account-linked data, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are limited to deletion of any pending or recently uploaded audio. Email hello@losslessvocalremover.com to request this.
